The Employer Group Instructions for Employee Web Access

  • Open your web browser and go to www.TheEmployerGroup.com.
  • Click on "Employee Web Access" located in the upper-right corner of the webpage.
  • Enter your Username and Password. Both of these are the last 4 digits of your social security number, hyphen, and your 4-digit birth year. Example: 5862-1972.
  • After logging in the first time you may change your password by clicking on the "Password Change" button under "Administration."
  • After entering your Username and Password, click on "Log On."
  • On the top left of the web page are the menu options.
  • Do not use the "Back" button on your web browser. For security reasons you must use the "Home" key at the top of the page to return to the main menu or select a different menu option.
  • The first menu option under "Compensation" is "Check Stub." After selecting this item, choose which pay stub you wish to view. This feature reproduces a check stub similar to the hard copy you receive each pay period.
  • The next item under "Compensation" on the main menu is "Payroll Summary." This features shows year-to-date information for earnings, deductions, and taxes. You may also select historical information by changing the year to prior years.
  • The next section on the main menu is "Benefits." The first option in this feature is "Benefits Summary." This shows all benefit plans you are currently enrolled in, including information such as total premium, how much your employer is paying towards the premium, your portion of the premium, coverage start dates, etc.
  • The next item under "Benefits" on the main menu is "401k Summary." If you are enrolled in the 401k plan, this shows your year-to-date contributions to the plan as well as any employer matching contributions (if your plan has a matching provision).
  • The last item in the Benefits section is "Paid Time Off." If your company has established a vacation or paid time off policy with The Employer Group, your balances will appear here.
  • The next section on the main menu is "Administration." This is where you can change your password under the "Password Change" tab. Under the "Personal" tab, you may also verify your personal information such as address, emergency contacts, etc. You may make any changes to this data by typing in the new information in the appropriate area, and clicking on "Accept" at the bottom of the page. Please take a moment to update your e-mail address.
  • The last section on the main menu is "Taxes." At this time, no options are available under this tab; however, that may change at some point in the future.
